Available are summary tables of employment and wages for industries covered by the Unemployment Compensation law. Quarterly reports are available for 1998-2001, annual reports for 1995-1998 and trend tables for 1981-2000. Quarterly reports are available as Lotus spreadsheets. Annual and trend reports are in html.
Visit the Quarterly Census of Employment & Wages main page for additional data and technical information.
~ Notes ~
NAICS-Based Tables versus
SIC-Based Tables
~ North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) employment tables present average quarterly employment data, whereas former Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) tables present employment levels for the third month of the quarter.
~ Trend Tables: Because data in this series are not broken out by industry, they should be comparable, whether collected under the North American Industry Classification System or the Standard Industrial Classification system.
Publications based on the North American Industry Classification System are available beginning 2001 and earlier and are in a different format. Visit Employment and Wages Publications.
